International Days of Wine is an excellent occasion to promote winemakers and wine, but first of all, Jasło – as a capital of Polish wine-making because it is right here that thirty years ago Mr Roman Myśliwiec founded the first winery in Poland. Following the idea
of Mr Myśliwiec, another wineries in the Podkarpacie region have been established. Today there are about 150 of them and new ones still keep appearing.
Jasło is definitely a birthplace of wine-making in Podkarpacie and it will remain it for ever. Our winemakers proved they are able to produce good quality wines which are valued and searched for by experts. International Days of Wine is a perfect occasion to present our riches; it is time for fun and joy.
